The ministry said in a statement on Monday that in the past 24 hours, 471 suspicious covid-19 samples were tested in laboratories, in which, 106 cases were positive.
Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Nangarhar, Kandahar, and Paktia have the highest number of infections.
According to the Ministry, in the past 24 hours, 18 patients have been recovered, and total number of recoveries has reached 25,198 across the country.
At the same time, 10 patients died from the virus, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,296 nationwide.
