Kabul Mine Blast Kills 1 Child, Injured 4
A child was killed and four others were injured when a roadside bomb hit a Taliban vehicle in capital Kabul, according to Taliban officials.
The incident took place on Sunday morning near the Shamshad alley of Kabul’s Bagrami district.
Taliban police spokesman Gen. Mobin Khan said the target of the blast was a Taliban “Ranger”.
Mobin added that one child was killed and four others were injured in the explosion, explaining that the blast was caused by a roadside mine.
According to him, all the injured people are Taliban members who have been taken to hospital for treatment.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast.
It is worth mentioning that attacks against the Taliban have recently increased in Kabul and some other provinces.
