Bamyan Governor: Kuchis Have No Right to Use Pastures Without Legal Documents

DID Press: Abdullah Sarhadi, the acting governor of Bamyan province, during his visit to Panjab and Waras districts, addressed recent tensions between Kuchis and local residents over the use of pastures and agricultural lands. He emphasized that Kuchis are not permitted to use pastures without possessing official legal documentation.

During the visit, the governor met with local elders and residents to discuss their concerns and ongoing issues.

He reiterated that no individual or group of Kuchis is allowed to exploit pastures or farmlands without proper legal and religious documents.
