Modi Ignored Four Calls from Trump
DID Press: Indian PM Narendra Modi has not responded to four phone calls from U.S. President Donald Trump over the past weeks, according to reports.

According to India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, no direct telephone conversations between the two leaders have taken place since April 22, 2025.
Sources familiar with the matter suggest that stalled trade negotiations over tariffs between New Delhi and Washington, along with India’s improving relations with Pakistan, have contributed to a cooling in U.S.-India ties.
