Missing Turkish Scientist Found in NY Federal Jail

DID Press: A Turkish scientist who had been missing for over a week has been located at the Buffalo Federal Detention Center in New York.

Sources reported that his visa has been canceled and no court date has yet been determined yet.

Furkan Doluk, a Turkish-origin scientist who mysteriously disappeared lately, was identified at the Buffalo Federal Detention Center.

His sister, Esra Doluk, confirmed to the media that her brother had been transferred to the detention facility, but an official court date has not yet been announced.

According to reports, Doluk’s U.S. visa was canceled by immigration authorities. His detention reportedly followed complaints he had raised regarding workplace abuses and violations at certain American research institutions.

Some sources suggest that Doluk had previously provided information about illegal activities in research projects, which may have influenced his arrest.

However, U.S. officials have not publicly commented on the reasons for the scientist’s detention.
