10 Countries to Officially Recognize Palestinian State
DID Press: A group of ten countries is set to formally recognize the independent State of Palestine this week, reported French sources.

According to a source at the Élysée Palace, Canada, Australia, Portugal, Belgium, Malta, Luxembourg, San Marino, Andorra, and France, and another country will officially announce the move on Monday during the International Conference on Palestine at the UN headquarters in New York.
The conference, co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia, is expected to mark a significant step toward strengthening Palestine’s international standing and increasing pressure on the Israeli regime to end its occupation.
This development comes amid a growing global wave of recognition of Palestine in recent months, with numerous European and Asian countries joining the ranks of supporters.
Meanwhile, Reuters, citing Japan’s Asahi Shimbun, reported that the United States has exerted diplomatic pressure on Japan to refrain from recognizing Palestine.
