Racist and Islamophobic, Sadiq Khan Responds to Trump

DID Press: London Mayor Sadiq Khan has lashed out at U.S. President Donald Trump following the latter’s recent verbal attacks, describing him as a “racist, misogynist, and Islamophobe.”

Trump had earlier claimed that under Khan’s leadership, London has faced a surge in crime and even the imposition of “Islamic Sharia law,” while also labeling the mayor’s immigration policies “terrible.”

Tensions between the two figures date back to 2015, when Khan openly criticized Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the United States. In his latest response, London mayor highlighted the city’s status as a leading destination for tourists and investors, as well as a symbol of cultural diversity.

Several British politicians have also supported Khan, dismissing Trump’s accusations as unfounded.
