Chaman-Spinboldak Border Set to Reopen Soon
DID Press: Chaman-Spinboldak border crossing, which has been closed in recent weeks due to border clashes between the Taliban government and Pakistan, is expected to reopen soon.

According to business sources in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the crossing is scheduled to reopen for goods transit by Monday of this week.
A ten-member delegation from the Pakistan Chamber of Commerce recently met with officials from the Spin Boldak Chamber of Commerce in Kandahar to convey the message of the border’s reopening.
Sources familiar with the matter said the meetings aimed to coordinate and facilitate trade activities between the two countries.
Additionally, the Deputy of the Spin Boldak Chamber of Commerce and Investment met with traders from the Chaman Chamber of Commerce on Saturday.
These exchanges signal both sides’ determination to resume trade activities and remove existing obstacles at the border.
Traders in Kandahar province say that thousands of trucks carrying goods have been stalled on both sides of the border due to the closure.
The situation has caused significant financial losses for traders and disrupted the regional supply chain.
