DID Press: US reported its latest airstrike on a ship suspected of drug trafficking in the eastern Pacific Ocean killed four individuals. The operation came just days after Washington announced three similar attacks in the same region that resulted in 14 fatalities.

U.S. Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, claimed US forces carried out a “precise lethal strike” against a boat belonging to a known terrorist organization.
“Four male terrorists were killed in this operation. The vessel was moving along known drug trafficking routes and carrying illegal cargo,” Hegseth wrote on X social media platform.
He did not specify the exact location of the strike but confirmed that the operation occurred in international waters of the eastern Pacific Ocean. The U.S. Department of Defense also released aerial footage showing the targeting and explosion of the vessel.
None of the victims have been identified, and Washington has not yet disclosed their nationality or the ship’s intended destination.
The attack took place while President Donald Trump was concluding his three-nation Asian tour.
Meanwhile, Amnesty International’s latest report has called on the U.S. to be held accountable and to halt attacks against individuals in international waters.
