Former US Envoy Calls Killing of ISIS-K Commander ‘Key Step in Pakistan’

Former U.S. Envoy reacted on his X (formerly Twitter) account to the killing of a key ISIS-Khorasan commander in Pakistan, describing the development as “positive and impactful.”

Local sources in Pakistan reported that unidentified armed individuals targeted and killed Burhan, also known as “Zaid,” a prominent ISIS-Khorasan figure, in Akhtarabad city, Punjab.

According to the sources, the commander played a significant role in the operational structure of ISIS-Khorasan.
