Dushanbe, Kabul Pledge to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

DID Press: A high-level delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan, led by the country’s Special Representative, visited Kabul for official talks with Amir Khan Muttaqi, acting Foreign Minister of the Taliban government.

According to a statement from the Taliban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations, expand diplomatic engagement, and increase economic cooperation.

The Tajik delegation emphasized their commitment to deepening ties, noting that Afghanistan and Tajikistan have significant potential for collaboration across multiple sectors.

Both parties concluded the meeting by stressing the importance of continued dialogue, delegation exchanges, and official visits to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
