DID Press: Pakistani security forces have killed seven militants in three separate operations in the border province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, authorities said. The army noted that clearing operations in the targeted areas remain underway.

According to Dawn, the Pakistan Army said security units conducted intelligence-based operations on 18 and 19 November, eliminating seven militants in the districts of Mohmand, Lakki Marwat and Tank.
The military’s public relations wing reported that the slain militants were linked to extremist groups active in the region. Security forces targeted their hideouts after an exchange of fire with the armed men.
The army added that expanded clearance operations aimed at identifying and neutralizing other militant elements are continuing across the border areas.
