DID Press: Pakistani police sources said that armed assailants on Monday (Nov. 24) attacked the headquarters of the Frontier Corps in the city of Peshawar, an assault that reportedly involved two suicide explosions and left at least three people dead.

According to sources who spoke to Reuters, the first suicide bomber detonated himself at the main gate, while a second attacker entered the compound. A senior security official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said: “We suspect there may still be several attackers inside the building.”
The army and police have cordoned off the area and are continuing clearance operations. The headquarters is located in a densely populated district near a military garrison.
Residents say all routes leading to the compound have been sealed off by the army, police, and security forces, and all movement has been halted.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
