Karzai Condemns Pakistan Airstrikes on Eastern Afghanistan

DID Press: Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai strongly condemned last night’s Pakistani airstrikes on Khost, Paktika, and Kunar provinces, calling the attacks a violation of international law.

In a post on X, Karzai asked Pakistan to act responsibly and refrain from repeating “destructive and hostile policies,” emphasizing the need to respect international principles and good-neighborly relations with Afghanistan.

Monday night airstrikes by the Pakistani military reportedly killed ten people and sparked widespread reactions. Islamabad authorities have not commented on the attacks.
