DID Press: Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that three individuals have been arrested in a joint operation with Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MİT) on charges of political and military espionage linked to the United Arab Emirates. A detention warrant has also been issued for a fourth suspect who is currently outside the country.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, efforts to uncover military and political espionage activities connected to the UAE are ongoing in coordination with the Istanbul Police Department’s Counterterrorism Branch and the National Intelligence Organization (MİT).
In today’s operation, four suspects were identified; three of them were detained, and a warrant was issued for the fourth suspect residing abroad.
Turkish authorities emphasized that this action is part of broader efforts to counter espionage and security threats at the national level.
