Pakistan Army Accuses Afghan Taliban of Enabling TTP Militants’ Border Crossing

DID Press: Pakistan’s military accused Taliban authorities in Afghanistan of allowing militants from Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to cross into Pakistani territory.

According to Dawn newspaper, military spokesperson Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said on Saturday, November 29, that Taliban forces first opened fire on Pakistani border posts, and during the same period, TTP fighters managed to enter Pakistan.

Chaudhry also denied media reports claiming that Pakistan had carried out airstrikes in Afghanistan’s Khost, Kunar, and Paktika provinces.

Islamabad has repeatedly accused the Taliban government of supporting TTP, while Kabul consistently rejects these allegations and denies the group’s presence and activities inside Afghanistan.
