DID Press: US President Donald Trump warned that the balance of the war in Ukraine is shifting rapidly to Kyiv’s disadvantage, saying Ukrainian leaders should have agreed to a settlement earlier.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said the current battlefield situation is “changing sharply against Ukraine.” He emphasized that Ukraine’s leadership “should have entered an agreement at a better time.”
“These conditions are now turning against Ukraine, and the shift is happening quickly. They should have reached a deal earlier,” Trump noted.
His remarks come as analysts also point to a gradual shift in military momentum in favor of Russia, warning that the continuation of the conflict could impose greater costs on Ukraine.
