Panjshir–Takhar Road Construction Set to Begin
DID Press: Following the completion of connections between Panjshir, Badakhshan and Nuristan, the contract for the construction of a new road linking Panjshir to Takhar province has been finalized, and work is expected to start soon, reported local sources in Panjshir.

According to official information, this project, valued at 451 million Afghanis, has been approved by Mullah Hibatullah, the leader of the Taliban government. It includes the construction of an 18-kilometer road from Kotal Khawak in Paryan district, Panjshir, to Warsaj district in Takhar Province.
Local officials emphasize that, once operational, this route will not only facilitate travel for residents between Panjshir and Takhar but also open new opportunities for trade growth and tourism development in the region.
