Afghan Cities Launch 436M-Afghani Urban Projects across 4 Provinces

DID Press: Municipal administrations of Kunduz, Mehtarlam (Laghman Province), Charikar (Parwan Province), and Bamyan have implemented urban development projects totaling 436.156 million Afghanis during the current solar year.

According to the Department of Municipal Affairs, Kunduz Municipality has undertaken 23 projects valued at 200 million Afghanis, of which 13 have been completed and 10 are currently under execution.

Mehtarlam Municipality has managed 14 projects worth 135 million Afghanis, including 3 completed projects, 4 ongoing, and 7 in the procurement phase.

In Charikar, 15 projects costing 41.156 million Afghanis have been implemented, with 11 completed and 4 ongoing.

Bamyan Municipality has executed 15 projects valued at 60 million Afghanis, 12 of which have been completed and 3 are ongoing.

These initiatives cover various urban sectors, including infrastructure and municipal services, and are either operational or nearing completion.
