Afghanistan Leads Iranian Printing Product Exports with 110% Growth

DID Press: Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance reports a significant surge in printing product exports to Afghanistan during the first nine months of 2024.

Abbas Zare, Director General of the Ministry’s Printing Office, stated that approximately 23,000 tons of printing products, valued at around 10 trillion Iranian rials, were exported to Afghanistan in this period. This represents a 110 percent increase compared to the same period last year, when exports totaled about 2.1 trillion rials.

Zare highlighted a diversification in export items, rising from 18 categories to 25, including labels, boxes, and packaging materials. Afghanistan has emerged as the top destination for Iranian printing product exports.
