DID Press: Directorate for Regulation of Urban Public Transport at the Taliban-run Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation announced that since the beginning of the current year, electronic cards and route logbooks have been issued for 25,988 transport vehicles in Kabul.

According to the directorate, the registered vehicles include 17,949 city taxis, 733 buses, and 7,306 cargo and freight vehicles, all of which have received electronic cards and official route documentation across the city.
Officials say the initiative aims to better regulate Kabul’s urban transport system, enhance transparency in vehicle operations, and improve service delivery for residents.
