Russia, Afghanistan Set to increase Direct Flights
DID Press: Taliban’s Ambassador to Russia, Gul Hassan, announced that the two countries plan to increase the number of direct flights between Kabul and Russian cities. This move is aimed at facilitating travel for citizens and enhancing bilateral relations.

Currently, Ariana Afghan Airlines operates one direct flight per week between Afghanistan and Russia, a service that has been running for the past four years. Additionally, efforts are underway to launch direct flights from Kam Air between Kabul and Moscow in the near future.
Gul Hassan also mentioned that steps are being taken to increase mutual travel between the citizens of both countries, which will eventually lead to more frequent direct flights.
He emphasized that the expansion of air connectivity could play a key role in strengthening economic, commercial, and humanitarian cooperation between Kabul and Moscow.
