Deadly Incident in Kabul: 8 Family Members Killed by Gas Poisoning

DID Press: Kabul police spokesperson announced that eight people have died following a gas poisoning incident in a residential apartment in District 21 of Kabul.

Hafiz Basharat, spokesperson for Kabul province, told Taliban Police Radio that the incident occurred last night and that all the victims were members of the same family.

a delegation will be sent to the site on following day to offer condolences and address the situation of the victims’ family, He added.

The incident comes as cases of gas poisoning increase across Afghanistan each year with the onset of colder weather.
