Ex-UK Ambassador to US Arrested Over Epstein Links
DID Press: London police said a 72-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of “misconduct in public office,” with media identifying the suspect as former British ambassador to the United States Peter Mandelson.

The arrest follows disclosures of correspondence between Mandelson and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Documents released by the United States Department of Justice indicate that Mandelson’s relationship with Epstein was closer than previously acknowledged. The correspondence is reported to include exchanges of information during Mandelson’s period in public office under the premiership of Gordon Brown.
The investigation was launched after related documents were referred to police. Mandelson had stepped down from his post at the British Embassy in Washington in September.
The Epstein case continues to reveal new dimensions of links between prominent political and business figures and the disgraced offender, intensifying public pressure for accountability in the United Kingdom. Earlier, Prince Andrew, the brother of the British monarch, was also detained in connection with the Epstein case.
British police investigation underway.
