Strong Earthquake Shakes Kabul and Northeast Afghanistan
DID Press: A relatively strong earthquake struck Afghanistan moments ago, shaking the capital Kabul and wide areas of the country, residents said. The tremors were sudden and clearly felt, forcing many people to flee their homes in panic.

Local sources reported that the quake was also felt across multiple northeastern and eastern provinces, including Baghlan, Takhar, Samangan, Sar-e Pol, Badakhshan, Nangarhar, Parwan, Kapisa, Panjshir and Khost.
No casualties or major damage have been reported so far.
According to international seismological monitoring centers, a magnitude 5.8 earthquake in recent days had already shaken parts of Afghanistan, including Kabul, Panjshir, Badakhshan, Takhar, Samangan, Parwan and Baghlan, underscoring heightened seismic activity in the region.
