Afghan Airstrikes Hit Pakistan Bases after Escalation of Border Clashes
DID Press: Taliban forces carried out overnight airstrikes on two major Pakistani army bases in Spinwam and Miranshah in North Waziristan, say local sources. The operation, dubbed “Radd ul-Zulm,” was described as retaliation for Pakistani bombardment of Khost and Paktia provinces.

At the same time, clashes between Taliban fighters and Pakistani militias erupted in Paktika around 2 a.m. and continued for several hours, underscoring a sharp escalation of tensions along the border.
Separately, reports indicate the government of Pakistan has intensified the detention of Afghan migrants. In the Swat area alone, 79 Afghan nationals were reportedly arrested, with security measures against migrants increasing in recent days.
The developments signal a new phase of confrontation between Kabul and Islamabad, with spillover effects extending from the battlefield to the treatment of migrants.
