Taliban PM Expresses Condolences to Iran over Supreme Leader’s Martyrdom

DID Press: Molavi Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Taliban government, sent an official condolence message to Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, following the Martyrdom of Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei. In his message, Akhund expressed sympathy with the Iranian government and people, describing the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader, as well as several Iranian military commanders and civilians killed during attacks by the United States and Israel, as a profound loss.

He emphasized that Afghanistan stands in solidarity with the people of Iran and expressed confidence that the Iranian nation, relying on national cohesion and a spirit of resilience, will overcome this difficult period.
