Pakistan Vows to Target Terrorists “Anywhere” Amid Regional Tensions
DID Press: Field Marshal Asim Munir, Pakistan’s top military commander, reiterated his country’s commitment to decisively combating terrorism during a meeting with religious scholars in Rawalpindi.

Munir declared that Pakistan will target terrorists “wherever they are,” signaling a firm stance against cross-border attacks. He specifically addressed Kabul, urging the Taliban to prevent Afghan territory from being used for operations against Pakistan. He also stressed that Islamabad will not tolerate domestic violence under the pretext of regional developments, including the US-Iran conflict.
The army chief highlighted the role of religious leaders in promoting national unity, countering extremism, and preventing the spread of misinformation.
Officials also noted Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to reduce regional tensions following recent events and emphasized the importance of maintaining national cohesion during this sensitive period.
