Taliban Deputy PM Visits Kabul Hospital and Pul-e-Charkhi Prison

DID Press: Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Administrative Deputy Prime Minister of the Taliban government, visited Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Hospital and Pul-e-Charkhi Prison in Kabul on Sunday, April 22, 2026.

During the visits, the deputy prime minister listened to the concerns and requests of officials, doctors, patients, and several inmates, assuring them that their issues would be reviewed and addressed.

He also instructed prison authorities at Pul-e-Charkhi to provide educational opportunities and vocational training programs for prisoners to support rehabilitation and skill development.
