Major Fire in Abunaser Farahi Port Contained with Iran’s Assistance

DID Press: Taliban security authorities in Farah province reported that a large fire at Abunaser Farahi Port was successfully contained with the assistance of Iran.

According to officials, the blaze started due to negligence by port staff, igniting a tire shop. Afghan firefighting teams, working in coordination with Iranian counterparts, were able to fully control the fire.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, and no details on the extent of the damages have been released so far.
