Israeli Airstrikes Intensify in Lebanon, Hospital Damaged Amid Fighting

DID Press: Heavy clashes erupted early Thursday in the southern Lebanese city of Bint Jbeil between fighters from Hezbollah and the Israeli Forces, as regional tensions continued to escalate.

Lebanese national media reported that Israeli forces deployed fighter jets and military helicopters during the confrontation, while sporadic ground fighting persisted at key entry points to the city, including the Al-Mihaniyeh axis. Israeli troops also reportedly demolished several residential buildings near the entrance to the city’s main market.

In a separate development, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on the nearby town of Tebnine, causing significant damage to a local hospital facility. The incident has raised concerns about the growing humanitarian impact of the conflict on civilian infrastructure.

Reports indicate that instability and intermittent fighting continue across parts of southern Lebanon, with no immediate signs of de-escalation.
