Flood Warning Systems Installed in Spin Boldak and Shah Wali Kot

DID Press: Provincial Department of Disaster Management in Kandahar has announced the installation of three early flood warning systems in the districts of Spin Boldak and Shah Wali Kot.

According to officials, the systems monitor water levels and flow speed, and automatically trigger alarm signals when rising water poses a potential flood risk, alerting local residents in advance.

Authorities say the initiative is aimed at strengthening local preparedness and reducing casualties and damage caused by sudden flooding in vulnerable areas.
