Afghanistan, Türkiye Discuss Expanding Trade and Investment Ties
DID Press: Head of Afghanistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Investment met with the chargé d’affaires of the Turkish embassy in Kabul to discuss expanding bilateral trade relations, joint investments, increased exports, and the establishment of a joint business council.

In a statement issued on Saturday (May 19), the Chamber said both sides emphasized strengthening economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Türkiye and agreed on the importance of creating broader opportunities for trade development and attracting mutual investment.
The proposal to establish a joint trade council was also highlighted as a key step toward facilitating economic cooperation and improving institutional coordination between the two countries.
