Kabul Announces Date for National University Entrance Exam

DID Press: Afghanistan’s National Examination Authority announced that the university entrance exam (Kankor) for 12th-grade graduates in Kabul will be held later this week.

The authority said in a statement on Saturday (May 30) that Kabul students will participate in the third phase of the nationwide Kankor examination for the year 2026-27.

According to the statement, the Kankor process is being conducted in four phases across the country, with Kabul’s candidates included in the third stage.

The National Examination Authority also noted that a separate examination for graduates of 14th-grade institutions in provinces including Nangarhar, Laghman, Kandahar, Helmand, Farah, and Nimroz will be scheduled after completion of all four phases of the national exam cycle.

Officials have not yet released further details regarding the exact date or venues of the Kabul examination.
