DID Press: Muhammad Sadiq has said that he met with senior European Union officials to discuss the political and security situation in the region, including threats posed by militant groups.

According to his statement, the meeting included discussions with Erik Kurzweil and Gilles Bertrand, focusing on regional stability and counterterrorism challenges.
The talks reportedly addressed security threats linked to armed groups such as the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan and the Balochistan Liberation Army, with claims of cross-border activity originating from Afghanistan.
The Pakistani envoy said both sides emphasized the need for coordinated engagement and continued cooperation to address security risks and maintain regional stability.
