IRGC Reaffirms “Resistance Strategy” Until Foreign Forces Leave West Asia

DID Press: Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran has reiterated that its “resistance strategy” will continue until foreign military forces withdraw from West Asia.

In a statement marking the anniversary of the death of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the IRGC emphasized the continuation of what it described as resistance until the “defeat of hegemonic plots” and the removal of foreign presence from the region.

The statement said public participation in social affairs serves as a backbone for both “the battlefield” and “diplomatic engagement,” describing the two as complementary tools in achieving strategic objectives.

The IRGC also referred to recent regional developments, highlighting what it called the establishment of new rules by Iranian forces in the field, and specifically pointed to the strategic management of the Strait of Hormuz.

The statement further reiterated its long-term goal of continuing resistance until the expulsion of foreign forces from West Asia, the end of external influence, and the “liberation of Jerusalem.”
