2 Afghan Coaches Receive AFC Level A Coaching License

DID Press: Two football instructors from Afghanistan have officially received the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Level A coaching teaching license, marking a milestone in the country’s football education system.

According to the Afghanistan Football Federation, the licenses were awarded during a ceremony held in Kabul to Mohammad Yousuf Kargar and Mohammad Taher Raufi.

In the same event, coaching certificates for AFC A, B, and C levels were also distributed among several coaches who graduated in 2025.

Officials said the AFC Level A coaching course in Afghanistan was evaluated by confederation inspectors and has now received official approval from the Asian Football Confederation.

The development is seen as an important step in strengthening professional coaching standards and expanding football training capacity in Afghanistan.
