DID Press: A senior commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned that any renewed US military action against Iran would trigger a stronger response and expand the scope of conflict across the region.

The commander criticized what he described as Washington’s “contradictory” behavior, saying the United States speaks of negotiations while simultaneously engaging in “hostile actions,” which he said undermines regional stability and threatens global trade security, particularly in the Strait of Hormuz.
He argued that U.S. leaders remain trapped in a cycle of repeated miscalculations due to what he called a misunderstanding of the Iranian people and the capabilities of Iran’s armed forces, adding that Washington’s “repeated falsehoods” reflect that confusion.
Warning against any future U.S. strikes, the commander said that if Washington attacks Iran again, it would face a response “more severe than before,” and that the flames of war would spread more broadly across the region.
Referring to recent U.S. threats against Iran’s oil infrastructure, he added: “Either oil and gas exports will continue for everyone, or they will be possible for no one.”
