Egypt Hails Iran–US Agreement as Key Step Toward Regional Security
DID Press: Egypt welcomed the reported agreement between Iran and United States, describing it as a significant development for regional and international security and expressing hope that it will help reduce tensions across the Middle East.

In a statement, Egypt’s Foreign Ministry said the agreement represents an important turning point that could strengthen stability, build confidence among regional actors, and open the door to broader cooperation.
Cairo noted that, under the direction of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Egypt had engaged in sustained diplomatic efforts with regional and international partners in recent months to support initiatives aimed at ending the conflict and advancing a negotiated settlement.
The ministry reiterated Egypt’s support for dialogue and peaceful solutions as the primary means of resolving disputes and voiced hope that the end of hostilities would renew international attention to the humanitarian situation in Gaza and the West Bank.
Egypt also called for renewed efforts to advance the next phase of peace initiatives in the region and promote long-term stability through diplomacy.
