India Sends 5 Tons of Essential Medicines to Afghanistan

DID Press: Ministry of External Affairs of India said it has delivered five tons of essential medicines to Afghanistan as part of its humanitarian assistance, reaffirming New Delhi’s continued support for Kabul.

Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal announced in a post on X that the shipment was handed over to Afghan authorities in Kabul.

He emphasized that India remains committed to sustaining humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.

The aid comes amid ongoing healthcare shortages in Afghanistan, where disruptions in trade routes and supply chains have contributed to limited access to essential medicines and medical supplies.
