High-Level Kazakh Delegation Arrives in Kabul to Boost Economic Cooperation
DID Press: A senior delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin, has arrived in Kabul to expand economic and trade cooperation with Afghanistan.

Taliban Ministry of Industry and Commerce said in a statement that the delegation will participate in the Afghanistan–Kazakhstan Economic and Trade Forum and attend the opening of a Kazakh products exhibition in the Afghan capital.
According to the statement, the delegation includes senior government officials, economic representatives, and prominent members of Kazakhstan’s private sector.
The visit comes amid a gradual expansion of economic and commercial ties between Kabul and Astana in recent years. Both sides have expressed interest in strengthening cooperation in areas including trade, transit, investment, agriculture, food industries, and raw material supply chains.
Officials expect the economic forum and accompanying exhibition to create new opportunities for business partnerships, increase trade volume, facilitate knowledge exchange, and attract fresh investment between the private sectors of both countries.
