DID Press: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said military preparedness and readiness for sacrifice are prerequisites for effective diplomacy during a meeting with Mohammed Al-Nuaimi, Vice President of Yemen and a senior member of the Supreme Political Council of Ansar Allah.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of a farewell ceremony for what Iranian officials described as the “Martyred Imam of the Islamic Revolution.
“Ghalibaf stressed the importance of unity among Muslim countries and strengthening the “Axis of Resistance,” saying recent developments had demonstrated the bloc’s cohesion and forced the United States and Israel to acknowledge the role of Iran’s regional allies.
He also said that successful diplomacy depends on having the capability and readiness for war, resistance, and sacrifice.Al-Nuaimi said Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement and Iran were “in the same trench,” describing Iran’s conduct during the recent conflict as a model for the Axis of Resistance.
He also expressed the group’s readiness to expand political cooperation with Iran and said Ansar Allah was prepared to take defensive action if political efforts failed.
