21 Armed Taliban Killed, Wounded in Ghazni


Security officials in Ghazni province reported that 21 armed Taliban were killed and wounded in the province.
According to DID news agency report, “the well-known commander of Taliban Abdul Khaliq who is the deputy of Mulla Edris, the shadow district governor for Ghazni province, along with 21 insurgents were killed and wounded in the province,” said Mohammd Zaman, the police chief of Ghazni province.
“The operation was launched in Andar and Qara-Bagh districts of the province where the Taliban group suffered heavy casualties and the security forces confiscated a lot of their weapons and ammunitions,” he added.
Although the police chief of the province confirms that two soldiers were injured in Qara-Bagh district, local sources say at least 8 police were killed and wounded during the clashes.
Taliban group have recently increased their attacks in the province and occasionally collapsed some of the districts.
