Iran Says Drones Targeted US Base in Kuwait

DID Press: Iran’s army said it carried out the 27th phase of its “Saeqeh” operation using attack drones against U.S. military positions and strategic facilities at Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait.

The army’s public relations office said the operation was conducted on Thursday night in response to what it described as recent U.S. “aggression” and the bombing of residential homes on Qeshm Island.

According to the statement, parts of Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base were targeted and damaged, including aircraft hangars, communications and air-defense systems, and support warehouses.

The Iranian military also said that joint operations by the army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had challenged U.S. air-defense systems in intercepting drones and missiles.

The statement did not provide further details or independent evidence of the reported damage.Iran’s army said its retaliatory operations against U.S. actions would continue.
