Taliban Suspends Activities of Seven Private Universities

DID Press: Taliban’s Ministry of Higher Education has suspended the activities of seven private universities for one year, citing the enrollment of fictitious students and involvement in corruption.

The ministry said the decision followed repeated warnings to the institutions.It also revoked the licenses of two other private universities permanently.

The ministry has not yet disclosed the names of the universities affected.
