Malala Yousafzai: Taliban Rule Has Created ‘Gender Apartheid’ in Afghanistan

She said the Taliban had “nothing to celebrate” when it comes to the rights of women and girls, describing the current situation in Afghanistan as a clear example of “gender apartheid.”

Yousafzai also highlighted the resistance of Afghan women, emphasizing that they have not backed down in the face of systematic restrictions.

According to Yousafzai, women both inside and outside Afghanistan continue to work to defend their fundamental rights and hold Taliban authorities accountable.
