DID Press: Afghanistan’s U-20 national football team has traveled to Bahrain to compete in the AFC U-20 Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers.
Afghanistan has been drawn in Group D alongside Jordan, Tajikistan and Bahrain. The group matches will be hosted by Bahrain, with the qualifying campaign scheduled to begin in late August.
Afghanistan’s young national team will enter the tournament aiming to secure strong results and qualify for the final stage of the competition.
Under the new AFC qualification format, the group winners and the seven best second-placed teams will advance to the final tournament of the AFC U-20 Asian Cup 2027.
