IRGC Official: Iran and Afghanistan Stand Together

DID Press: Brigadier General Iraj Masjedi, deputy coordinator of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force, has emphasized the close ties between Iran and Afghanistan and called for expanded bilateral cooperation in economic and cultural fields.

Masjedi said Iran and Afghanistan share deep historical and cultural ties and maintain favorable relations across various areas, adding that the two countries have the potential to further expand their cooperation.

He also highlighted the importance of the Iran-Afghanistan shared border, describing economic and cultural cooperation as key areas for strengthening interaction between the two countries.
