Ghor Residents Donate 454,000 Afghanis to Support Families in Gaza
DID Press: Residents of Afghanistan’s Ghor province have raised 454,000 Afghanis in financial assistance for families affected by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, according to local Taliban officials.

Mawlawi Abdul Hai Zaeem, the Taliban’s director of information and culture in Ghor, said residents of the province contributed the money despite their own economic difficulties.
Zaeem said the funds were subsequently transferred to Gaza and distributed among families in need. He described the initiative as an effort to support families facing widespread humanitarian needs in the Gaza Strip.
Some residents of Ghor said they contributed according to their financial means and expressed hope that the assistance would help meet at least part of the needs of affected families in Gaza.
Recent UN humanitarian reports continue to document significant humanitarian needs in Gaza, including shortages affecting shelter, food, water and other basic services.
