Taliban Public Health Minister Visits Specialized Medical Centers in Belarus

DID Press: Mullah Noor Jalal Jalali, the Taliban’s acting Minister of Public Health, visited a specialized cardiac treatment center and the central polyclinic in Belarus during his trip to the country.

The Taliban Ministry of Public Health said that during his visit to the specialized cardiac center, Jalali became familiar with the diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases, surgical services, modern medical equipment and the provision of specialized health services, and gained information from the center’s experiences.

The Taliban Public Health Minister also visited Belarus’s central polyclinic and became familiar with its services and methods of operation. The purpose of the visit was described as using Belarusian experience to strengthen and develop polyclinic services in hospitals in Afghanistan.
